Hi everyone,
I'm encountering an issue that affects all actions and Copilots I create, and I’m trying to understand why it happens.
When the bot triggers an action—whether it's a predefined action or a Power Automate flow—and the option "Ask the user before running this action" is enabled, the following happens:
- If the bot prompts the user with a confirmation message (e.g., "Should I check the weather for $LOCATION?" or "Should I send the email with $SUBJECT and $BODY?") and the user confirms, the action executes without any issues.
- If the user wants to make changes, the Copilot accepts the updates, provides an updated confirmation message, and proceeds correctly after confirmation.
- However, if the user responds with "No" (e.g., "Don't check the weather" or "Don't send the email"), I consistently receive a generic error message:
"Sorry, something went wrong. Error code: SystemError."
This issue occurs across all actions and action types I've tried and persists across all Copilots or Agents I’ve created.
I have attached two screenshots for reference: one showing a successful run of an action and another showing the error message after the user does not confirm the action.
My main question is:
- Why does this error occur when the user denies the action?
- Do I need to define a specific message or response for when the user denies an action?
- I haven’t been able to find any configuration option for handling a "No" response.
Has anyone else faced this problem or knows what might be causing it? Any insights would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Luka
