hi all,
I am trying to add a table to CDS and i'm getting the error:
You are missing the necessary privilege to create columns in this environment
I have an admin account can someone advise when security role group i need to add myself into to allow myself to add CDS tables please. I found a CDS user group but that's all i can find

By default, only System Administrator and Customizers have access to create entities. I would suggest to get in touch with them to get the proper roles assigned.
Further more, make sure the security role assigned with you has Create privilege on 'Entity' shown as follow.
But it is not sufficient to just have privileges on the Entity. When you create an Entity, the system will also create Fields, Views and Relationships. The simplest solution is have your user either added to the OOB System Customizer role, or System Administrator role.
