I'm using a power automate process to create an html file from powerapps and email it out as a pdf file. This file contains a checkbox the recipient will manually check and return. I cannot get the checkbox to render when the html is converted into the pdf. I found a post that remarked on there being a limited character set available to the onedrive connector, but I cannot find any kind of list that tells me what the connector can actually convert. There are a number of symbols available in html and it would be nice to know which of them are actually usable without testing all of them out myself. Does anyone know where I could find some kind of documentation that might actually list what can be handled.
Encodian is blocked by my organization. I appreciate that the free converter has less functionality; what I'm trying to find is documentation about those limits. I can find plenty of responses around about how it doesn't convert everything, but no list of what it CAN convert. That is my goal. If it can't convert something, it just outputs an empty square box. I'm using it, but because it is functionally an error placeholder, I don't have any control of its dimensions.
Hi @dsagfhjj ,
There are many limitations when using the convert file action to convert HTML files to PDF files, such as CSS styles are not supported, some characters cannot be displayed, etc. But you can create a new idea through the below URL, then ask your colleagues to raise up the votes.
Power Apps Ideas - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com)
The product team has direct visibility of these ideas and they will implement it on the basis of the highest number of votes received.
As an alternative, I suggest you use a more specialized third-party service(Encodian):
Best Regards,

Hi @dsagfhjj

Not sure how it renders in PDF conversions.
