I was able to find this article where it mention that the URL should be until 2 level depth only. If the URL is more than 2 level, the content in subsequent level will not be included.
So with this information, i conclude that if i have a URL with 3 level depth or more, the content in those page will not be included.
BUT.
I added a 2 layer depth URL, ask the bot about some content that should be in layer 3 of the URL, it does me return me result.
Yes based on documentation and my understanding is the same. We can use only 2 level of depth.
At the same time, you have to note that
Subdomains are used by generative answers, whereas other unassigned, top-level domains aren't used to generate copilot responses.
But anyhow, if you want to restrict your search within a particular page of website, i would suggest to try using "Bing Custom Search" functionality instead of adding direct website links.
I believe that is more flexible than adding the knowledge source directly.
Thanks.
