Use components from component library in solution

Hey everyone,

since yesterday I have a big issue with my powerapp and I can't figure out the source for my problems.

The situation is the following: I have a canvas app which is located in a solution. Its build in a solution, because I'm working in an test environment and later I will move the app (and everything in the solution) to another environment. This canvas app uses components, which are located in app librarys for collaboration and reusability reasons. I can import those components from the librarys to my canvas app and its working perfectly fine. When I change one component in the library and update the components in the canvas app output properties of the components are not recognized anymore and errors occure. Does anyone has an idea how to solve this issue? I already read a lot about the problem and I the documentation says: "You can't add existing component libraries to a solution. However, you can create new component libraries for solutions using add component library flow." . However, I could add component libraries to the solution and was able to import respective components. So how do I solve this conflict and enable collaboration?

I'm pretty new to powerapps so its possible that i miss something fundamental - so I'm open to any kind of advice 🙂

Thanks!
