Dataverse Max Character count

I have a Dataverse Table Column that has a Max Character count as 150. it is installed in Testing and Prod. Now I have the need to increase the character count to 250. When I do that in Dev and deploy to Test, it doesn't change. I have also tried to use "Clone a patch", it still doesn't work. Any suggestion to fix this?
I have the same question (0)

    Hi

Unfortunately, there isn't enough details here to understand why its doing it.

Did you use a managed Solution in Test and Prod?

How did you increase it? Did you delete it, and recreate it, did you change it, save it, publish it, and verify it before sending it to test?

Cloning etc won't matter, if you changed the field, is it the same field? Can you please share your Dev Table with the column. Have you verified in Dev that it now takes 250? (btw changing this can be dangerous to your data).

If you are moving a Managed Solution, after your solution is imported, in the Make.powerapps interface go to the Table Column and check to see if there is an unmanaged solution sitting above your Managed Solution, if there is then select the unmanaged layer and Remove  it (after you select it there will be a Remove layer button above the grid).

If it is an Unmanaged Solution, make sure you have Published after the Import.

@FLMike  My Test and Prod are managed solutions. I increased the column count by Editing the Column in Dev environment. and yes i saved and published the change. The Column in Dev still shows 250. I need this change to reflect in TQA and Prod as well.

    Hi,

How was the solution already moved is it managed or unmanaged ?

While exporting from Dev make sure you export it as an solution after PUBLISHING
