Is there a limit on nested galleries in a Canvas App?

I can successfully create 2 nested galleries but am unable to add a third.

Scenario:

gal_state
gal_location (Child Gallery of gal_state)
gal_street (Child Gallery of gal_location) - able to create when pasting the YAML code
gal_building (Child Gallery of gal_street ) - getting Error, cannot be nested at this level

From a performance standpoint, it's generally not recommended to build 3 nested galleries. However, is this technically possible?
