Hi all,

I am experiencing the error in the subject when trying to access an app that me and my team are in the middle of creating.

I have tried the below guidance and still compared to my colleagues permissions and still have no luck.

  • Check User Permissions: Ensure that your user account has the appropriate permissions. You might need roles like System Administrator or System Customizer.

  • Update Access Mode: Make sure your access mode is set to Read-Write instead of Administrative.

  • Assign a Valid License: Verify that your user account has a valid Power Platform license.

  • Review Security Roles: Ensure that your user account has the Create and Update privileges for all the tables used by the components in your app.

I have also tried signing out and in, clearing cache and cookes and trying on another browser.

I doubt this would be the case but I wonder if it may be to do with my colleague testing admin roles access within the app but I do not think it would affect this part when doing so.

Any help would be appreciated.

Review the browser’s console logs (press F12 or right-click and select Inspect > Console) when accessing the app. or check Conditional Access Policies (e.g., Azure AD)

    thanks

Hi, thank you for the advice! I have taken a look at the logs and it had mentioned that I needed to enable javascript, which I have now done but its presenting a different error as shown below.

There was an issue retrieving your most up-to-date data. Some features may not behave correctly until a successful connection is established.

Something went wrong. Please try again later. Principal user (Id=aa5a5437-34b2-ef11-b8e8-6045bd0f2c14, type=8, roleCount=0, privilegeCount=0, accessMode='0 Read-Write', AADObjectId='34cde0fa-3fbb-4c3d-b096-edb1cd0c8187', MetadataCachePrivilegesCount=4546, businessUnitId=67425f41-36a9-ef11-a72f-6045bdfcced6), is missing prvReadmsdyn_solutioncomponentsummary privilege (Id=9426417b-358b-4fb6-bc4f-d6494516fbcd) on OTC=10014 for entity 'msdyn_solutioncomponentsummary' (LocalizedName='Solution Component Summary'). context.Caller=aa5a5437-34b2-ef11-b8e8-6045bd0f2c14. Consider adding missed privilege to one of the principal (user/team) roles.

I have the same issue but only for two apps.

Until yesterday evening I was co-owner of said apps, the owner has left the company.

Now I go to the portal and saw I could not edit, with the same error as you.
Turns out I went from co-owner from those apps to a user.

Fortunately there is another co-worker who is co-owner of those apps, I am waiting for a response from her to assign co-ownership to me again.

Very very very strange, I'm not yet able to find an explanation for this

I just fixed it myself by assigning co-ownership to the apps in the admin portal.

At first, my account was user and the co-ownership checkbox was grayed out so I could not select it.

I deleted my account from the 'shared with' and readded. Then I was able to select co-ownership again.

This worked Lars, thank you. My colleague removed my access and then re-added me as co-owner.
