Modern Date Picker calendar is too small in mobile view

I am leveraging modern controls for my powerapp but having trouble with the modern date picker. The calendar itself is way too small to be usable on a mobile screen. See pictures below + comparison with classic date picker.

Is there any way to adjust this/is this a bug?

Isn't the popup of the modern date picker control the exact same width as the classic control with a change in the design allowing the year and month to be selected. You may have to use the classic control or create your own control as currently this is the only design for the modern control.

@ronaldwalcott no, they are not the same width - the classic control is wider (see comparison below). This is unfortunate because I do like the design of the modern control, it's just not usable at all in the mobile view. It would be great if the modern control had properties to adjust the size of the calendar, or have the ability to turn off the year control.

I have this exact same issue and it's driving me nuts. I am fairly certain that at one point (a month or so ago), that the calendars were an appropriate size and for some reason they just changed! Wish I could help, but I am in the same boat! You can see the size of the calendar in my mobile screenshot (from preview mode iPhone 12Pro).

It's been a year since this issue has been reported, yet nothing has changed. The Calendar is still to small for mobile usa and can't be adjusted in any way.

It seem there isn't enough awareness of this problem as it should. How are people dealing with it? Are there any workarounds, or they simply continue using the classic control?
