Not resetting the values in a gallery by default

Hi,

In my power apps forms,there are drop-downs and based upon the selection made in the drop-down the values appear in the gallery accordingly (home screen)

If nothing is selected in the drop-down then the default values are shown in the gallery.

What I need is if I select some item in gallery and come back to my home screen whatever selection I have made in the drop-down should not get reset,currently the values are getting reset.

Please help!

Is the Reset property of the drop-down set to false?

OnChange of the dropdown, set a variable:

Set(varSelected,Dropdown2.Selected.ColumnName)

Then in the Default of the Dropdown:

varSelected
