No permission to the 'SharepointFormApp' application even though I am the owner

Hi all,

I have been trying to share my published form app with people in my organisation. Unfortunately when I try to do so, power app prompted me that I have no permission to do so. But I believe that I am able to do so as I am the owner of the app. When I try to share it on Teams, it says that the app does not exist. Can anyone advise how I should tackle this issue? Thanks!

If you're using the SharePoint form Power Apps integration, then you wouldn't be sharing it like you would a standalone Power App. The two types have different functionality. The SharePoint Power Apps form integration is meant to work only within the SharePoint lists and you'll notice when you're editing it, the share option will be greyed out or not work, since it's based on being embedded in the SharePoint list. I f I have built the apps within sharepoint list and unable to share within my organisation, does that means i have to rebuild the whole apps to standalone using powerapps directly?

I don't know enough about your situation, but in our case, we tend to use the 'SharePointFormApp' forms (i.e., SPO lists with forms customized using PowerApps) more than stand-alone canvas apps. You can either redo your PowerApps as a canvas app, or grant more people access to your SPO site and list, so they can use the PowerApps form you already built. Good luck!

I am facing the same issue, but I am interested in benefiting from the features of being a stand alone app... Is there a way to "convert" the SharepointFormApp into one?

Or how can I make the transition as simple as possible?

When it's a SharepointFormApp I see that the only way to access its editing/customizing side either from the Sharepoint list itself or via direct link, which seems to be opened to any users who have access to the list?!
