Empty Date Value in Canvas APP

Hi I have created a canvas app from sharepoint list.

I have a datepicker field

By default the date has no value,

When I enter a value , and click on this button it should clear the value in date field

On click of button , date value should be cleared

Can someone pls help?

Set the Default property of the datepicker to Blank(). Then set the onSelect property of the button to Reset(datepickername)

Hello @JayashreeKrish ,

You can set it as Blank()
Onselect of sync symbol set variable as Blank() and You can make use of that variable in Default of DatePicker control

If a user has entered a date you won't get it to display the default again unless you issue a reset. Setting the default to a variable and changing the value of the variable only works until a user enters a value in the date control.

Hi @vish3027 Thanks
By default it is blank , I dont have any issues in that.

But when I click the refresh button , it should become blank - this is my use cae

If the default is blank then reset(controlname) is the way to get it to go back to blank after someone has entered something.
