Dataflow visible in Standard Solution but NOT in Dataflows list or Admin Center

Hi Power Apps Community,

I'm encountering a very strange issue with a dataflow in my Power Apps sandbox environment.

The Problem:

I have a dataflow that I created within the My Environment I can see it listed when I navigate to Solutions > Standard Solution.

The really odd part is that this dataflow appears to be running successfully every day as scheduled, and the data in the target Dataverse table is being updated correctly. I can verify this by looking at the data within the table.

However, the dataflow itself is not visible when I go to the main Dataflows section in Power Apps. The list is empty (or doesn't show this specific one).

Furthermore, in the Power Platform Admin Center, when I go to Environments, select my sandbox environment, and look under the Resources section, the "Dataflows" option is completely missing from the list.

What I've Checked:

  • Environment: I've confirmed I am in the correct sandbox environment in both Power Apps and the Admin Center.

  • Filtering: In the main "Dataflows" section (though it's empty), I've checked for any applied filters.

  • Browser: I've tried refreshing, clearing cache, and using different browsers. The issue persists.

  • Solution Context: I understand the difference between solution and environment views.

  • Data Update: I have confirmed that the data in the destination table is being updated daily, indicating the dataflow is indeed executing its scheduled runs.

  •

My Questions:

  1. Has anyone ever encountered a situation where a dataflow runs and updates data but is completely invisible in the main Dataflows list and the Admin Center? This seems like a significant display bug.

  2. Could there be a specific configuration or issue within this sandbox environment causing this disconnect between the dataflow's execution and its visibility?

  3. Since I can't see the refresh history in the usual place, is there any other way to monitor the execution logs or status of this dataflow?

  4. The complete absence of the "Dataflows" option in the Admin Center's Resources for this environment is still very concerning. What could cause this?
The Problem is that i want to modify the dataflow and it not possible

It sounds like you're dealing with a perplexing issue! Let's try to tackle this step by step.

    Potential Causes and Solutions:

    1. Environment and Permissions:

      • Ensure that you are indeed in the correct environment. Sometimes, dataflows are created in a different environment than expected. Double-check the environment switcher in Power Apps .
      • Verify that you have the necessary permissions to view and manage dataflows in the Admin Center. Lack of permissions can sometimes cause resources to be hidden  .
    2. Dataflow Visibility:

      • Dataflows created within a solution might not appear in the main Dataflows section. This is because they are managed within the context of the solution. Try navigating to the solution where the dataflow was created and manage it from there  .
    3. Admin Center Configuration:

      • The absence of the "Dataflows" option in the Admin Center could be due to a configuration issue. Ensure that the dataflow feature is enabled for your environment. You might need to contact your Power Platform admin to verify this.
    4. Monitoring Execution Logs:

      • Since you can't see the refresh history in the usual place, you can monitor the execution logs through the Power Platform admin center. Navigate to Monitor > Logs to view detailed logs of your dataflow executions .
      • Alternatively, you can use Application Insights to log and monitor your Power Apps activities. This can provide detailed insights into the execution and any potential issues .

    Next Steps:

    • Check Permissions and Environment: Confirm that you have the correct permissions and are in the right environment.
    • Solution Context: Manage the dataflow within the solution context where it was created.
    • Admin Center Settings: Verify with your admin that the dataflow feature is enabled for your environment.
    • Monitor Logs: Use the admin center or Application Insights to monitor execution logs.

If these steps don't resolve the issue, it might be worth reaching out to Microsoft Support for further assistance. They can provide more in-depth troubleshooting and help identify any underlying issues.

If the response is helpful to you, a like or mark as the correct solution. thank you so much!

I'm facing this issue too. Can you please check whether your Dataflows show duplicated in the Default solution? That's also happening to me.

So far, I got no sucess in having them back.
