Hi,

I need some help in getting around this issue. I have a SharePoint document Library displayed in powerapp with links to those docuemnts, which open in a browser. But I need the documents to be opened in the Powerapp itself and also I need to be able to access them offline in the app..

Thanks

Syed

This is not available yet. Full PowerApp integration in SharePoint libraries is yet to come. There are several ideas posted for something like this in the PowerApps ideas forum. The feedback of the product team ranges from 'planned' aka they have planned to start making this to 'started' aka they are working on this.

    Hi @syed87634,

Here is an idea about part of you feature request, but it didn't mention the offline part. You could add your comments there, or you could submit a new idea.

what could be an alternate solution you think for this to work, working with a sharepoing document library offline...

It depends on what kind of device and what are your requirements. On a Smartphone or Tablet you can use the OneDrive app to browse through you SharePoint Libraries and make folders and documents available offline. Unfortunately, there is no option to make a complete library available offline. I guess that has something to do with available storage on a mobile device. On a laptop the sync client is the way to go for offline usage of SharePoint libraries.

The SharePoint app does not give you acces to the documents stored in SharePoint, bit redirects you to the OneDrive app if you want to interact with a document library. Microsoft describes OneDrive as your one stop for all your documents.
They are planning to support PowerApps interaction with document libraries somewhere this year.
