Error code 2020 testing a PVA.

Hello,

I am getting the following error when I test my PVA. It seems to occur when it calls a Power Automate Flow, but there is no hint that the Power Automate flows is actually getting run.

Sorry, the bot can't talk for a while. It's something the bot's owner needs to address. Error code: 2020. Conversation ID: 8jN54VywHPZ19LsZ1lwVki-o. Time (UTC): 11/12/2020 5:37:47 PM.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Dennis

    Hi @DennisM ,

Can you a picture of the trigger and the return to PVA action (last action) of your workflow, please?

Just to understand better which is the possible issue.

IF the issue persists, you can open a ticket to the PVA support, they can help you better: https://powervirtualagents.microsoft.com/en-us/support

@DennisM this is indeed something wrong with the flow. A screenshot as @Renato  asked will help.

You can also go to the flow itself (by clicking the link in the PVA topic) and see what happen on it's run history.

This is often caused because the flow was changed since it was added to PVA. Removing and adding it again might solve if this is the issue.

PS: If you run this same topic in the test bot within PVA, you will get a clearer error message explaining it's the flow. But you will still need to go to the flow itself to see what happened.

Thanks for the suggestion to remove and add again. The following steps resolved my issue:

    1) Exported the Solution containing my PVA chat bot.

    2) Created a brand new D365 environment

    3) Imported the Solution into my new environment (got an import error, which I fixed by manually editing the ZIP file - I traced where the import error was occurring to one topic, and replace the XML segment (about 100 characters) that had the problem with XML from another Topic that was ok)

    4) Tried running the PVA in the new environment - same error

    5) Deleted the old D365 environment (from which I had exported the Solution)

    6) Tried running the PVA again in the new environment - it worked!

    Thanks,

    Dennis
