Updating PCF component

Hello,

After creating my PCF control, I run the command below to generate my zip file and upload the zip file into my instance.  However, if I make changes to my control what are the steps I need to follow in order to update the component?  In my case, I just ran the msbuild commands and did another import from the solution interface.  However after that I notice none of the javascript changes appear in the component.  Was wondering if there's any documentation about doing this.

 

  1. Run the command pac solution init --publisherName someName --customizationPrefix someSolutionPrefix.
  2. Run the command pac solution add-reference --path provide path of control project folder where the pcf.proj is available.
  3. Run the command msbuild /t:restore.
  4. Run the command msbuild.
