Copilot Studio Pay As You Go not able to access service

Hi,

I have setup Pay-As-You-Go for my environment. Azure Billing Policy created and assigned to the environment.

When I go to copilotstudio.microsoft.com, though, I get a screen offering me to sign up for a trial. There is no other way forward. I was of the impression that PAYG means, all users could potentially build copilots. Why can I not access the service? Trials have been disabled in our tenant, so if I click on "Trial", I get an additional error message. This is fine, but if I setup PAYG, I should be able to access the service without the trial. Is there something else I need to do?

I solved the issue after opening a Microsoft ticket. It turns out that you must assign a security group (not to your environment) but in the Power Platform Admin Center tenant settings.

1. Go to admin.powerplatform.com -> Settings -> Copilot Studio authors (preview)

2. Select a security group with those users that can use PAYG

Hello,

I know that apart from this, you also need to assign Copilot Studio User license to each user, so that they can use it. Please try to add it and check if it worked out.
