Model driven powerapps using same cds as dynamics CRM

Hello, I just want to ask if model-driven powerapps are using the same cds as dynamics CRM because I just can't find some information about this topic. Thanks for any help.

    The answer to this is yes - the model driven apps you build use the same CDS database as Dynamics.
