Enable Virtual Tables to support Dataverse events

Hi everyone,

I am struggling to understand what do to enable a or any virtual table to support triggers. By default, virtual tables are NOT event-driven enabled or in other words, unlike the standard tables of dataverse, no action can be triggered as a result of a change in the data of the table.

Found the link but not clear to me what to do:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/developer/data-platform/virtual-entities/enable-virtual-table-event-support

I'd like to enable this table to participate in asynchronous Dataverse Event Framework pipeline events and in the PowerAutomate Dataverse connector When a row is added, modified or deleted trigger.

The table I am hoping to work with is AAD User table. As the name suggests, azure active directory ought to be the source.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you,

    Hi @KiaSepDotCom,

AAD Users only supports read operations and I'm not sure if there are plans for Microsoft to add in the business events capability out of box for the table (it's a good idea though). Perhaps @NHelgren can speak to this.

You could probably go through the hoops to set this up yourself but it would be a fair amount of effort.

What you could do is subscribe to AAD AAD Event Grid events  and then use the Event Grid connector to trigger a flow and do your intended logic.
