I have a MS flow set up to end an email when an item is created or modified in a SharePoint list. The column date and time format with Standard display format.

In the Flow I use a Compose action with the following expression:

compose.png

The SharePoint list shows the following time: starttime.png

Flow is showing a different time: compose2.pngcompose2.png

What am I missing? Any assistance in this would be greatly appreciated!!

I found the solution using Convert time zone

Base time = the column in my list "Start Time"

    Sourcetime zone = UTC

Destination time zone = the time zone I am in which is MST

Format string = how I want the output to look like

Re: MS Flow pulling wrong Date/Time

    Hi @leslie_rivera

flow only works with dates and times in UTC format. So when it reads the date from SharePoint it gets it in UTC.
you would need to use expressions.

check this flow expression video series -
