Error in HttpRequestAction method

Hello,

I'm new here and I'm just starting out at Copilot Studio.

I'm making a post using Http Request Action, but I'm getting an error.
I receive the post in my application but the error occurs in the chatbot.

 

 

Error code An error occurred.: SystemError. Conversation ID: 585def6c-1b36-4ba7-88cd-93402439ec0a. Time (UTC): 05/01/2024 12:59:40

I believe this error is occurring because the post returns status code 201 instead of status 200.

 

Test performed by the postman, returning status code 201

Can anyone help me with this?

**Another help, how to add chatbot variables to the json data to send in the post?

    Hi Ektopan,

    Before I attempt to diagnose the issue, I have a couple of questions:

    • Does your API require authentication?

    • Have you ensured that the correct headers are being passed to your API? Postman might already include those settings.

    Additionally, please double-check if you have specified the response data type correctly. If you have selected the response data type as 'string,' it might be incorrect. Consider choosing 'Record' as the 'Response data type.' Once selected, provide a sample response, and the system will generate the appropriate data type for you.
