Question Detail
Linking here means that data is imported from Excel, displayed in Power Apps, and the data in Excel is updated by the user's input in Power Apps.
The calendar application we are trying to create here is simple: select a date, enter an appointment, and press the submit button, and the appointment will appear in the calendar
For free, we mean something that can be used continuously, rather than using a free trial period.
If the application we want cannot be done with something that can be used continuously, we would be grateful if you could tell us how we can do it using the free trial period.
What we have already tried
I was able to create an organization account ends with .onmicrosoft.com and use the Power Apps developer plan to create a calendar.
However, I could not link the data to Excel.
After researching, I learned that it was possible to dynamically link the data by using OneDrive, but I found that I needed Microsoft 365 to use that OneDrive.
I learned that Microsoft365 has a free cloud version that can be used up to 5gb and tried to use that, but this service is not available for organizational accounts, only personal accounts.
So I created a personal account ends with an outlook.jp, but I could not use the Power Apps developer plan with that account.
I looked for a way to connect Power Apps and excel in another account, but this also does not seem to work.
Problem
1. The PowerApps developer plan is not available for personal accounts, only for organizational accounts.
2. The 5gb cloud version of Microsoft365 cannot be used with an organizational account, only with an individual account.
3. There seems to be no way to link Power Apps and Excel data from separate accounts.
Based on the above points, I currently believe that it is impossible to dynamically link Power Apps to Excel for free.
However, I am not familiar with Power Platform or Microsoft 365 at all, so I cannot be totally sure.
This is a long story, but I would be grateful if you, the experts, could answer my question.
