SharePoint look-up column is not recognized

Dear all,

i have problem which bothers me for quite some days...

A colleague added a lookup column called "Material" to a SharePoint-list called "Markt: Article Pool" and it won't show up in my Power App.
For example, when I add a form with the list being the data source, the column "Material" is not displayed (see pictures).

I tried adding an additional lookup column called "Material_" which is a lookup to the exact same list as "Material", this one will show up (see pictures).

Using Power Automate, I tried to check if the column "Material" will be displayed there. No chance, but again, "Material_" does appear.

I refreshed the data source, deleted and added the list again, deleted my connection to SharePoint and cleared the cache of the browser, but nothing seems to work.

If anyone experienced a similar problem or does have another idea how to fix it, I appreciate every help!

"Secondary" columns in SharePoint Lookup columns are not available to do anything useful in Power Apps. You need to query them directly in the other list.

    Hi there,

These LookUp columns can act weird sometimes. How about creating a new lookup field as you have done and transferring all the values to this new column? How many rows do you have?

Off the top of my head, when making a detail form, the form doesn't allow for adding the same field twice. So, is Material already on the Form?

I think the second column Material_ has some other problem, so I'm treating that as a Red Herring for now.

    Hi HG-19081230-0

To diagnose this, I'd ask your colleague that added the "Material" lookup column to create a new Power App and to see whether the "Material" and "Material_" columns are available.

If the "Material" column appears for your colleague and not you, that could indicate some permission or user level setting that's missing on the column/list.
