Tenant Data Limit

Logged into Power Apps - i.e Dataverse for Teams and got this message for the first time:

Your tenant has reached its data limit. Delete any unused apps, chatbots, and flows or upgrade environments to continue using any existing apps, chatbots, and flows. Please contact your administrator for more information.

I have two small apps with a handful of test data. How can we be at the limit already? When I check the admin portal, my Temas environments are not above 30%.

When I check the summary, we are nowhere near limits. If I am near limits with what little data we have, I will need to abort the project since it will become unable with no data capacity.

Any assistance is appreciated.

    Hi @mc-aop ,

    Please see the data limits here:  https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/about-teams-environment

    You will have 2GB each for up to 5 Dataverse for Teams environments.  What I have found is that each time I create a Dataverse for Teams environment it will default utilize 512MB of the 2GB without any tables at all, base use.  You will be able to add a lot of tables / data before getting to the 2GB limit though from my experience.

    The reason I think you might be hitting your data limit is due to the number of users you have with appropriate Microsoft 365 licensing as described in the link above.

    @dpoggemann

    Thanks for the reply.  I am aware of the limitations, my issue was why I was getting the error message when no where near these limits. I opened a ticket with Support and they confirmed that the error message is incorrect and misleading and they are looking further into why it's showing up.

    The other issue is no visibility for what is taking up the space inside that 2 GB worth of space in Dataverse. You can somewhat see this in a regular Power Platform environment, but not for Teams environments. These are just shortcomings of trying to provide a "free" version of PowerApps and Dataverse through Teams. There nice, and most importantly free, but will be quickly outgrown. Without these tools, at this point I really have no real way of predicting how long the app can last before it needs to be upgraded.
