PVA analytics dashboard doesn't track sessions for redirected topics.

Hi,

Based on my observations, It seems like PVA analytics dashboard can't track the session data if the topic is triggered from another topic.

 

For example, if Topic A is triggered, and it redirects to Topic B, we can only see the session count in analytics dashboard for Topic A, there weren't be any data for Topic B if it's triggered by redirecting.

 

Is this correct? What's the best practice to track the actual session count if they are nested?

    @hachan It's an item that is in our backlog, but we do not have near term plans. 

    I recommend requesting this at https://aka.ms/PVAFeatureRequest. We use feature requests as one of the signals during product planning when prioritizing features.

    Is there any development plan for PVA to track topics redirection in built-in analytics?

    That is correct. Currently only the triggered topic is tracked in PVA analytics that are built into the app.
