Dataverse Primary Name column limited in number of characters?

Hello,

I am working on a dataverse Table, and I have set the primary Name Column to be 800 characters max in characters count.

However, when I test it, Dataverse is refusing to save anything that is above 100 characters count. (it gives me a save error)

 

Have I missed something? Is there a 100 character count max on the primary name column?

    Hi @ValeriaBreve ,

     

    Have you tried to Save & Publish All customization then force refresh your page couple of times ensuring that you have latest changes?

    Hi There.

    I have come across this before.  It was an erratic error I haven't seen in a while. When I last experienced it I switched over to the solutions explorer view and edited the char limit in the legacy interface and all was good.  More info at Create and edit columns for Microsoft Dataverse using Power Apps solution explorer - Power Apps | Microsoft Learn
