Managing Solutions between environments

Hello,

I have one problem I am trying to solve so I came here to ask for help from the experts. Let me describe the situation:

I have two environments in my tenant, one for developing the Power App (DEV1) and one for the official internal use of the app (OFC1). We are pushing a managed solution package from DEV1 to OFC1 and the plan is that we want to have these 2 apps available in Teams but the problem is that I cannot find a way to differentiate these apps inside the solution.

The dream would be that we have two different app names in Teams so we easily see which one is from the DEV1 and the managed OFC1 app.

The problem is, when I upload a managed package to DEV1 and take the "Dev" away so I know that it's not the development app, is the updating the package. When importing an upgrade managed package from DEV1 to OFC1, the app does not update. The app name stays, which I want but the app content is still the same as before.

Any suggestions how to resolve this?

Thanks,

Ville
