Default views in dynamics deleted my view in CDS?

I've tried to set the default view in the CDS so I don't have to click on the top right button when doing data validation.

I set the view up in the CDS editor in powerapps and went to the dynamics admin centre to try and make the view default. I published the changes and when I came back to the CDS my view was gone 😞

Any idea if this is possible? I know I'm being lazy but lazy is good!

Hi @Anonymous,

It seems you are trying to modify the Standard Entity?

May I know the steps for the View creation?

I just tried to create a view within Standard entity, and it works.

We need to click on the Add View under the Views tab, once the pop-up Window opens, configure the view settings, after that, click Done.

Then a New View would be loaded as custom:

Hi Keith,

To start, no - unfortunatley setting it as the default view wont bind it to the Data view in the portal. If will only impact model driven apps when the entity is used. If you think there is value in this, please go ahead and raise an item on the ideas forum and we will look into it.

The fact that it disappeared is more concerning - I tried to repro and can't see the same behaviour. Can you confirm you've refreshed, and try in an inprivate session and see if you still can't see the view?
