Set Form or Display mode based on status field

I have a power app that requires approval if it requires correction or is rejected i need to have the form available to have the user edit the information.  If that field is not equal to rejected then the form is just in view mode.

Is this possible?  I know you can do this on individual controls but want it on the entire form as a whole.

Thanks

Dorinda

    @Dorinda

    You would need to have something conditional in the control that opens your form.  If you are opening the form from a gallery, you would put

    If(ThisItem.Approval="Rejected",EditForm(Form1),ViewForm(Form1))

    in the ">" icon.  If Status is an Option set type column, then

    If(
     "Rejected" in ThisItem.Status,
     EditForm(Form1),
     ViewForm(Form1)
    )

    Hi @Dorinda,

    I am assuming here that you are talking about a SharePoint form customized with Power Apps.

    Have you tried setting your form's Mode property to FormMode.View or FormMode.Edit according to your status field?

    Thanks for this, great help

    Would like to know where exactly where I need to add this formula if the form details are reflected for the gallery record.

    Thanks again!
