Hi power apps experts,

I have been experiencing a strange and irritating issue with my app. I have a simple textinput box.
There is a lot of text in this box.

Sometimes, when I am typing text in the first line of textbox. While typing, the cursor jumps to the end of line and I am suddenly typing at the end of line.
This happens multiple times during a day. It always jumps to the end of line.

I have tried placing the text input control in a form, out of a form, changed browser, I am simply not able to fix this issue.

Can anyone help me with this?

Does it happen when you press Tab? or Automatically?

Is it happening for all textbox controls?
Do you have any event SetFocus(text control) from other control?
Any Onchange event for that textbox control?

Just curiosity, Can you create a new app, place few controls and test this? Just to eliminate is this behavior global or to a specific app or Specific screen?

- No, only 1 on textbox. Other textbox are small with very little text. Its only this text box that contains a lot of text, where I spend more time typing and experience this issue.
- Nope, no setfocus event
- Yes I have onchange patch. But I have tried removing onchange and using the textinput box in a form instead, still facing the same issue. So, onchange doesn't seem to be the issue. And, the cursor jumps while I am still typing, so onchange is not triggered at that point.

Hi @SearchingYT

Is the control enabled for "Edit Multi-line text" on Control Type? In this example "Issue Description" is enabled for multi-line text.

Not able to attach image somehow
Select the form
Click Edit fields
Check the text control (Control Type)

The control is just a textinput box. It is not in a form.
It is patched to the datasource.
Yes, it is has multiline mode.

I believe this is a limitation of textinput control when working with large amounts of text? I am not sure...

Max size for the text controls

A single line of text: Max 4,000 text characters
Multiple lines of text : Max 1,048,576 text characters

Any news about this subject? I encounter the same problem with a large text field in a form.

It happens in dev and published mode. And it happens in different browsers.
I tried to put the form with just that text field in an empty screen.
I also tried to recreate the screen and to delete the field and create it again without success.

I would be really grateful if Microsoft could solve this bug.
