Dear All

Happy New year 2022!

I am writing because I would like to create a simple drop down list connected to SharePoint.

(i have created a column in a SP list called TIME with values "Morning" and "Afternoon".

and i would like to create the drop down on Power Apps. How can i do please? and make these fields required.

note : I did not use a form, only "input date picker" and "Input Text"...

thank you,

    Hi @Anonymous ,

The drop-down Items just need to be

    ["Morning","Afternoon"]

and you would Patch the value back when you write the rest of your data with

    TIME:YourDropDownName.Selected.Value

BTW TIME is not a good name for a field as it is a Reserved Word in Power Apps.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

The easiest way is to make the field required in SharePoint.

finally i create a look up column in my  SharePoint list. It works fine 🙂

And i want to display the selected value in my home screen (list of all requests) which is a gallery:

I added a text label and in the formula; i typed "thisItem.DropdownWhenFrom" and it returns an error. (I changed the name of my column as you recommended).
