Hello all,
I'm currently working on a Flow meant to move Form survey results over to a SharePoint list. The survey has 17 different sections that can be filled out. The issue i'm running into is updating a SharePoint item if they retake the survey and fill out a different section. Let's say the user takes the survey once and fills out section 2. A week later they retake it and only fill out section 4. Is there a way I can have Flow check if the user has already submitted a response- and if so- update the old results with the new section and not deleting the old submissions.
Thank you,
Issac
Flow questions should be posted in the Flow Community more quicker and more robust answers,
That being said, it would depend on how you have structured the data in Sharepoint. If you have a unique identifier for the survey AND the individual so that you can identify their survey, you can do a get items with an ODATA query in Flow to pull back that specific record. That will give you the item ID for their survey with shich it should be straightforward to update the correct record with the new data in only the section to be recorded this time.
