Items are not appearing when I click the drop down

I have my app connected to my SharePoint list, and on the list I have a column with multiple choice values to choose from. When I click on the drop-down menu in the app, it doesn't display the choices that I programmed in SharePoint, but it still lets me select things. I've tried removing and reconnecting my SharePoint list but this doesn't fix. Any advice?

    This usually means the wrong Column is selected as the Viewable column. Meaning it picked one (a dumb default one which it usually does) that is blank. That is why you see the Highlighed area as if you selected something.

    Go to the Right, after clicking the Control. Go to the Properties and edit the Fields. Then make sure the default/view field is the one that has the data you want.

    And it will appear.

    If this resolves your issue, please Mark as such and maybe a like thanks!!

    @Michael E. Gernaey so now it's showing these items instead of my designated choices... any suggestions on how to fix this?

    1. Show what you have in your items property and what the data is
    2. Show pictures of what you configured in the Fields section and default etc.

    There is still a disconnect between your data and that, meaning you have data.

    Take screen shots of its properties and Items property and what the data is.

    @Michael E. Gernaey is right.
    Let me help you with direction. As its a comobox.

    Select Combobox >> Click Display >> Click Edit against Fields >> In primary text dropdown select the column name for which you want to display the data in the dropdown.
