Hi All,

I am trying to create a portal and it was working fine yesterday. But suddenly it started throwing an error saying -
"

We are sorry, but seems something went wrong. Please try again, and if this persists, contact the website administrator.

Error ID # [ ]

We've been notified about this issue and we'll take a look at it shortly. Thank you for your patience.

How can I fix this error?

This is occurring when I am inserting, updating, or deleting a record. So when I am adding parameters in the URL it is causing this error.

Please help

    Re: Portal Error

I am glad you are no longer facing the issue.

It is difficult to tell as you were presented with a generic error message and not the real exception. My only guess here is that there were some data issues, either your business data or Portal configuration data, but you might have fixed in the meantime. During this time the Portal had cached data and was throwing an error, after every 15min the Portal automatically clears the cache, so it would have fixed by itself.

Again, this is just a guess.

    Hi @OliverRodrigues ,

After some time it started automatically started working fine. Can you please me understand this kind of behavior?

    Re: Portal Error

Hi, can you disable custom errors, and this will give us the exact exception the Portal is throwing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8QxoyOIzAc

this will help us troubleshooting the issue

also, what you mean by adding parameters in the URL? are you changing the GUID or something? is it working fine if you don't change the URL?
