Admin_auditlog table is increasing despite deleting records

I have done a bulk delete of this table. I started it 8 hours ago and it is still deleting records, but this table is still growing according to the Capacity report. This is the biggest table according to the Capacity report which is why I am doing the bulk delete. Any advice ?

    Hi @jjpreston291,

     

    Capacity storage reports can take up to 24 hours to refresh, so you might have to check back the next day to see the new consumption.

     

    Also, you may want to disable auditing before doing your bulk delete, because you will end up with an audit log entry for deleting each record.
