Hi there

How would I connect a drop down list in power apps to a SharePoint list? The SharePoint primary column is a lookup list.

so when I go

Items = (list name)

I can select the columns from ‘Value’ but the lookup lists are not there for me to select .

any help would be appreciated

    @Anonymous - the Items property of the Dropdown control should contain the following syntax:

    Choices([@'Your List'].Your LookUp Column)

    Thanks so much!

    I’ve tried the syntax and I’m getting the following errors :  Name isn’t valid ‘{0} isn’t recognised?
    I’m not sure what it relates too?

    @Anonymous - could you take a screenshot? It would help if I could also see the tree view in your app.

    Thanks again!

    this is what I’ve entered with the error message.

    I’m not sure why it’s returning  errors .

    @Anonymous - to obtain the syntax you need;

    1. Add an Edit Form control somewhere into your app
    2. Add the LookUp column into your Form as a DataCard
    3. Click into the automatically generated ComboBox control inside the DataCard and select the Items property for the syntax you need.
