The command 'pac auth create -u https://orgXXXXXXXX.crm4.dynamics.com' is having no effect/pop up for authentication in VS Code.
You need to also give it a name. Try:
pac auth create --name myEnvironment --url myUrl or pac auth create -n myEnvironment -u myUrl
@cchannon the --name parameter is optional, and should not play into what @Anonymous is experiencing.Note that pac auth create -u <url> will pop up the regular AAD dialog; since launching from the VS Code terminal, that dialog is not properly parented to the VS Code window. It is possible that the dialog is e.g. hidden behind VSCode, or on a different screen (if multi-screened)
Hi @DavidJen ,
I am not seeing a dialog behind or on another screen. Could there be a VS Code setting preventing it ?
Does it behave as expected in a normal command prompt/pshell outside VS Code?
It doesn't. Perhaps I have a restriction on my machine ? I do get the dialogue window from my browser though.
