Connect Dataverse plug-ins to endpoint-enabled resources

After some delays the feature from Release 2023 Wave 2 "Connect Dataverse plug-ins to endpoint-enabled resources" should be In Preview now. After a lot of searching I can't find anything about this or the "programmatic interface to configure the feature".
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/release-plan/2023wave2/power-platform-governance-administration/allow-dataverse-plug-ins-connect-private-endpoint-enabled-resources

The closest I got is documentation about "Create virtual network data gateways". This seems like the same base, but is for DataFlows, Fabric, and Power BI, and mentions nothing about Plug-ins.

Anybody any idea what to do to make this feature work?
The Azure infra and network configuration I've got, just missing the part for connecting an environment and plug-in with the private endpoint.

I have the same question (0)

Indeed Dataverse is now eligible to be listed as a service for subnet delegation!

I've followed the manual on the Azure side. But this still leaves me to question how the connect/communicate from a Dataverse Plugin to this VNet/subnet. The delegated subnet only has internal IP's which Dataverse would know nothing about.

I tried adding Private Endpoints to a webapi in the VNet, but this doesn't seem to work and defeats the purpose of subnet delegation as far as I understand it. At some point you need to "connect" Dataverse to the VNet/subnet I assume and be able to use this from a plugin. This last part I can't find anything about.

I could be wrong here, but it looks like all they are saying is that Dataverse is now eligible to be listed as a service for subnet delegation. That being the case, all you need to do is follow the walkthrough here, using PowerShell or Azure CLI but not "Portal".
