We developed a Canvas solution in Power Apps with Premium connectors and/or features, and we are maintaining an AD group for the selected users of the app. However, there are users, who are not added in the AD Group, getting a "Start a Power Apps Trial" prompt message". Hence, creating a confusion to users that they need to install something. See attached picture for reference.
Is there a way we can customize this like getting prompt message, "Click the 'Request Access' button to notify our AD Group Owner and give you an access."
You've run into a common challenge with Power Apps canvas apps that use Premium connectors: when unauthorized users (not licensed or not added to your AD group) try to open the app, Power Apps shows the default "Start a trial" prompt, which is confusing.Unfortunately, Power Apps does not currently allow customizing that default licensing prompt UI. However, there are workarounds to give users a smoother, more controlled experience.
To prevent users from even opening the app (and seeing the Premium connector prompt), consider:
Launch()
This avoids the Premium connector check until authorized users reach the app.
