Can we customize the "Start a Power Apps Trial" prompt message?

We developed a Canvas solution in Power Apps with Premium connectors and/or features, and we are maintaining an AD group for the selected users of the app. However, there are users, who are not added in the AD Group, getting a "Start a Power Apps Trial" prompt message". Hence, creating a confusion to users that they need to install something. See attached picture for reference.

Is there a way we can customize this like getting prompt message, "Click the 'Request Access' button to notify our AD Group Owner and give you an access."

If the app is shared with the user whom don't have an license then - they might get this warning Start a Power Apps Trial.

I don't think so this will be possible using the out of the box option which is available in the power apps

No, it's not possible to customize the message.

You've run into a common challenge with Power Apps canvas apps that use Premium connectors: when unauthorized users (not licensed or not added to your AD group) try to open the app, Power Apps shows the default "Start a trial" prompt, which is confusing.Unfortunately, Power Apps does not currently allow customizing that default licensing prompt UI. However, there are workarounds to give users a smoother, more controlled experience.

To prevent users from even opening the app (and seeing the Premium connector prompt), consider:

    💡 Use a "Wrapper" App

Create a free, public-facing canvas app (no premium connectors). This app is a landing app that:
    • Checks if the user is in the AD group (using a Flow or a SharePoint/Dataverse list)
    • If yes → uses Launch() to open the main Premium app
    • If no → shows your custom request access scree

This avoids the Premium connector check until authorized users reach the app.
