Hello,
I have been reading some of the threads on variables, but I just cant make it work. I have several dropdown menus I would like to have the result set as variable and then use that variable as a default so that i don't have to change it if i have several items i need to add to the SharePoint with similar parameters. I have tried everything and now my powerapp wont even pass the drop down selection to the sharepoint. What am I doing wrong? where can I find more resources about variables and setting them as defaults.

1) Move your OnSelect formula to the OnChange action
2) Set the DefaultSelectedItems property to: varLoc

Thanks, was able to pass it as a table Table({varLoc}), now the data wont update on the sharepoint list. 😞
