Add to Teams functionality no longer working for Copilot Studio?

Hi,

We've created some different Copilot Studio bots and have successfully deployed them into Teams. However, since the last Teams update from last week (10/15/2024), we've found we can no longer add new Copilot Studio bots to Teams. We've not changed any permissions for Copilot Studio. Even after another Teams update today (10/21/2024), we can't add new Copilot Studio bots to Teams.

Clicking the "open Copilot" Teams button or using the share link brings up the app interface in Teams. When we click Add, it just says, "Something went wrong."

Something went wrong.

Copilot bots that have already been added to Teams still work, so not sure what's going on there.

Any suggestions would be welcomed!

The latest Teams update might have altered the permission settings or authentication processes.? Teams has app permission and setup policies that may block or restrict apps (including Copilot bots) from being added. Check if the Teams app policies for your organization have changed.

Since Teams caches data, a corrupted cache might be causing the issue. Clear the Teams cache by closing Teams and deleting the %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams folder (on Windows).

Thank you, that worked! I found I had to both use both the Repair and Reset buttons in the Microsoft Teams settings (Settings -> Apps -> Installed Apps -> Microsoft teams -> Advanced Options).
