How to reset a counter field before changing environment from trial to production

Hi All,

I created an app which uses dataverse tables. The trial and testing period is over, and I would like to turn the environment into production environment starting January of 2022. Because of having a counter field in the dataverse table which is used in the app (InvoiceNo - Format: A{SEQNUM:4}/{DATETIMEUTC:yyyy}). I would like to reset it value to the first default value which should be A0001/2022. (when we will be using the App, this should be the proper value)

Because of testing the counter fields current value is A0042/2021

My problem is, that after I have created the tables and field, I see no option to reset, redefine the value of this counter fields.

Could anybody help me how to solve this one?

Thx a lot!

    Hello @FreierD,

    Hope you are doing good.

As per your requirement you can change the Seed Value to Start your Auto Number

    1. Navigate to https://make.powerapps.com

    2. Choose the Respective Environment

    3. Expand Dataverse

    4. Click Tables

    5. Click on the Entities where your AutoNumber Exists

    6. Search for that field in that Entities

    7. Click on the Field --> it will open an Pane there you can able to see SEED Value change that value

    8. Once the Field Changes Click on Save

    9. Click on Publish

    That's it 🙂
