SharePoint Integration--How to assign PowerApps to multiple SharePoint lists

I created a PowerApp for a specific SharePoint list--this part works fine. I would like to use the same PowerApp with 10 or 15 other SharePoint lists with the exact same fields. There does not seem to be a way to assign a PowerApp to multiple SharePoint lists. I am trying to avoid having to create 10 or 15 PowerApps, one for each SharePoint list.

    Hi @tshaheen

You can add as many multiple SP lists or other data sources as you like, just add them to the App like this:

Thanks for your reply--this is not the actual issue. While you can add as many sources as you want to a PowerApp, I want to do just the oppposite--I want to apply the app to another list. That is, I would like the PowerApp to show up when I open the SharePoint list, just like it does for the first one I created. It appears that I will need to create multiple PowerApps.

To put a little more detail here, assume I have a list of Names and Addresses in a SharePoint list--call this List A. I created a PowerApp from List A and this works just fine. Now assume I have list B that consists of the same fields (Names and Addresses), but for a different audience. I really wanted to apply the PowerApp to list B in this case, but it seems as this cannot currently be done.

    Hi @tshaheen

Thanks for clarifying.  In my opinion, if you have data with the same structure then it should be in the same list.  This makes managing changes and data evolution much easier.

You can taylor the experience for each audience by using the PowerApps User() function or by using the permissions native to SharePoint.  As an example of the second approach, you could create folders in your list with different read permissions for different users, then they would only see the items meant for them.

    Hope this helps

No--using the same list is not possible in this case. It is a requirement of the application for different regions to have separate lists, so changing that is a non-starter.

Thanks for your ideas on this ...

An acceptable solution is to create a Copy of the PowerApp (by using Save As in the PowerApps window) and then change the data source. Maintainability is not great, of course, but this particular app does not need customization.
