Hi there. I am completely new to this community and am very new to the Office 365 Apps. I would like to know whether it is possible to have an AI bot linked to our SharePoint intranet. What I would like is for employees to be able to ask the bot questions and to be given a human like answer. E.g. What do I do if I'm sick? Where is the expenses form? What's on the menu this week? How do I book a holiday? But rather than just have a link to the policies/stories on SharePoint be able to answer the question being asked.
Is that something that is possible? And if so, any ideas where to start? Is this something a complete novice could realistically achieve?

Yes. If you have modern SharePoint pages and/or documents which address these questions then that is feasible. You may also want to consider extending the M365 Copilot to have those additional data points (such as benefits or cafeteria data).
