Hello all,
i added remove(delete) function on my DataTable1 and i want that removed(deleted) data which i deleted from DataTable1 should save in datatable5. i attached snap for reference.
Hi @Nasreen
Then you would either need to have another Table/List to store the Deleted Records, or you need to use a Collection.
And in your Remove (Delete) Button (or however you trigger it), you would need to add this (Selected Row) to your Trash Data Source.
Then in your Trash Data Table, bind to that Source.
You don't provide any pictures or details etc on how you are removing, but what I said is how you would do it.
If you like my answer, I would really appreciate if you please Mark it as Resolved, and give it a thumbs up, so it can help othersCheersThank YouMichael Gernaey MCT | MCSE | MCP | Self-Contractor| Ex-Microsofthttps://gernaeysoftware.comLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/michaelgernaey
Hi @Nasreen,
What is your Data source? SP list?
Not sure how you configure the delete function on your side, here I have tested on my side for your reference:
1). Set OnSelect of any column of the DataTable1 as below:
RemoveIf(list1,ID=DataTable2.Selected.ID);Collect(list2col,DataTable2.Selected)
Here DataTable2 presents the DataTable1 on your side.
2). Set the DataTable5 Items property as the collection
Thanks for the response it was quite useful, and my data table source is SP LIST and now I am unable to collect (see) deleted data on datatable5, and can you elaborate step2 which you mention above.
NOTE: I added DataSource for datatable5. which has only one row which has headers and from 2 row i want to store the data.
can you please help me with this?
