I have a Power Apps booking app, and I would like to enhance it with additional features. When someone books a room and taps on a date, I want to display a list of bookings on that day and the names of the persons who have booked the room. Any one have idea?
Hi @Sanu,
Do you want to display the booking list on that day and the current user's name?
You can use Filter function to get the today's records and use User().FullName expression to get the user name.
Best Regards,
Kyrie
Thank you. but, I'm not very knowledgeable about Power Apps, as I'm still a new user. Could you provide a brief guide on where and how I can add this filter?
@Sanu
Assuming that you want to display the list in a dropdown.
You can set the Items property of dropdown as
Filter(Test1,Date=Today())
Note that Test1 is my DataSource and Date is my field name.
Hello again @v-mingkz-msft ,I greatly appreciate your help. However, my app looks like this. When someone selects a date, Now it displays the text 'room is busy,' but I want to show who has booked the room at that time.
Do you want to display the user's name who book the room at the time you select?
If so, you can filter the records with Selected Time.
pls show me how can i do this
