Show PowerApp version number

I have created a PowerApp that works offline. Now I'm looking for a way to show current version number of my PowerApp, for example in a lable on the startscreen. Is this possible? How do I do this? Or do I need to create my own version names for every major update?

I dont belive there is any way to access a vesion yet. What I do is Manually code it as a tooltip under a header icon and then reference that tootip value when I need it.

Well, I thought that might be the case. Now my big challenge will be to come up with som cool version names. Since it is a forrest company I think I might go with "Larch release", "Oak release" and so on 🙂

    Thanks for your quick answer!

Nope, I don't think there is a way to show the current version number of the app/powerapp. What I do is that I have added a label that picks up a version name that I add manually (see previously comments). This will at least give the user a hint what version they are running.

Its been a while.  I really want to have a version on my app homescreen.  Even the last published date.  It would be helpful.

    Thanks.

There is a PowerApp idea about this, https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/PowerApps-Ideas/Get-app-metadata-from-within-the-app/idi-p/47153. Go there and vote 🙂
