Hi, would it be possible to have a business rule for the following scenario?
A record has 4 columns: 1. Name of Issue, 2. AssignedTo (email), 3. Status & 4. DateRecorded (assume it is filled by ETL)
Is it possible to do the following:
If DateRecorded is 7 days Outstanding Status, change AssignedTo to the Manager of the AssignedTo person as per active directory? & 7 days Outstanding later assign it to the Manager of the Manager..?
Thanks.
Hi @fess ,
I would personally do this through a Power Automate flow so you don't need to be on the user interface to accomplish and behind the scenes it would make these changes. You could have the flow run daily to review the records in question and change the AssignedTo to the Manager.
As @rampprakash mentioned, not available in OOB business rules.
Hello @fess,
As per OOB Behavior, this type of behavior is not possible in Business Rule. You can write JavaScript to achieve this behavior easily.
