PowerApps - Tables Not Loading Properly from SPO

I am having trouble getting data connections setup in PowerApps, specifically for connecting to SharePoint online data sources.

I followed steps to add my SharePoint Online account as a Connection, which worked fine - sent me through my organization's sign-on as expected.

The issue happens when I go to create an App and select Options > Data Sources > Insert your data. When I attempt to paste in a new Team Site URL, it comes up with the following error: "The tables did not load correctly. Please try again."

Any ideas why this might be? I have full control permissions on the site and there are many lists and libraries, yet still I receive this error. It happens with every team site I try. Help would be greatly appreciated... my understanding was that it was pretty straight forward to connect to a SharePoint Online database, hence my confusion and frustration.

    Hi Caljwill,

What version did you use for PowerApps?

I also have ever met this issue. In general, I closed PowerApps, and re-open it again and connect to the SharePoint Online site. It would work well.

Also, you can delete the existing SharePoint online connection, and recreate it.

If it doesn't work, I suggest you check if it is the latest version. If not, please update it to the latest one.

    Thanks,

    Wendy

I am having the same issue, too. I'm currently using version 2.0.340. At one time, maybe three weeks ago, it worked fine and made the connection. I'm not sure what version I was running at that time.

I have tried the above suggestions without success: 1) closed and reopened PowerApps; 2) deleted the existing connection and made a new connection. Neither helped.

OK. Now it works. The key is to find the "base" of the SharePoint site. It must be either the Team Site URL or a sub site URL. Any other URL returns the message "The tables did not load correctly. Please try again." When successful, a pop-up menu displays all possible SharePoint lists.

I am also having this issue. I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting as well as closing/opening. I also made sure that I am using the "base" url. I contacted support and they suggested disconnecting/reconnecting but this did not help.

I am on version 2.0.380 and I am having the same issues you mentioned. I just started using this and I have fallen at the first hurdle

Same problem here - cannot connect to SharePoint online - "The tables did not load correctly".

Same for me as well for version 2.0.380.

I was able to establish connection without any problems to SPO but "The tables did not load correctly. Please try again." always appear when connecting to specisic SPO no matter what I do. I think in my case it may be old URL to O365 https://companyname-8.sharepoint.emea.microsoftonline.com/ but I cannot be sure. I can establish connection to SPO from other products without problems tho.
