Hi, I am trying to create my first copilot project in copilot studio but after loading 2 mins to create the project, it throws the below exception & will not create. Could anyone help how I can overcome the exception? FYI I attached the screen shot also.
{ "code": "0x80040265", "message": "{\"statuscode\":500,\"statusdescription\":\"Internal Server Error\",\"errors\":[{\"code\":0,\"message\":\"Exception of type 'Microsoft.Dynamics.PowerVA.Plugins.Exceptions.ExternalServiceException' was thrown.\"}]}" }
@yonash as a Microsoft employee can you please use internal channels for this?
@cchannon thanks for recommendations, I tried creating again just by following the instructions in copilotstudio.microsoft.com home page by clicking "New CoPilot", and I am using the Microsoft default environment "Ms Personal Productivity (msdefault)". It loads for 1-2 mins as shown below but then it throws the same error message again.
I don't have any resources created before so nothing to delete. I am still on early creating a new co-pilot stage. or if my understanding is not correct, what do you mean by resource?
I went also to power platform admin center, but not sure what I need to do here because I don't use any power apps or powerbi and not sure what I needed to install/update as you suggested above. Could you please explain?
My main goal on the new co-pilot is putting a website(link) on creating stage and use the generative AI feature.
Please let me know if I am missing something. thanks
That's very strange, and unfortunately the error message isn't very helpful. It is possible that your environment was in the process of installing/publishing other core platform solutions (this happens often in the background) and that something about that update is preventing these plugins from referencing some internal MSFT service needed for creating the Azure resources. So, my first recommendation would be to just try again after an hour or so.
If that doesn't/didn't solve your problem, then I would delete the resource and try creating again. It's possible there was just some strange one-off error that won't repeat.
If that doesn't solve your problem, I would check the installed solution versions in the Power Platform Admin Center: see if there are updated solutions available in your environment that you could try installing. If so, update to latest and then try again.
